Secondary Care at The GAP
The treatement program runs for between 1 to 6 months, and is charged at R22 000 per month (2009).

The above costs include VAT.
These costs do not include the costs of hospitalisation, medication, pocket money or private consultations with other psychiatrists, medical doctors or psychologists not employed by the G.A.P. Payments are to be made in advance and are not refundable under any circumstances. Should a patient on the any of our programs have his or her treatment prematurely ended for whatever reason, the patient will be entitled to complete his/her program at no additional costs within one year of admission.

Please take note of the following:
The costs above include a comprehensive medical examination and follow-up visit. Should a patient require further visits with the General Practitioner, such visits will be for the patient’s account. If a patient is not on a medical aid, a float will be required to cover the costs of these consultations. This float should be about R2000 and will also cover medication and other costs, and any balance will be refunded on discharge.
